Gabellini Sheppard

In an on-going collaboration with the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, Gabellini Sheppard Associates was commissioned for "A Day Without Art," the annual museum and art community's response to fellow colleagues, artists and memberswho had died of AIDS. This inaugural installation was conceived as a flowing black sash of mourning which become emblematic of the citywide memorial ceremonies.
