Hillside Residence

This 20,000-square-foot residence is located on a hillside overlooking the Han River and the historic center of Seoul. The clients, a prominent professional family with a philanthropic art and cultural foundation, desired a private, gracious enclave in which to live, entertain, and house and display their revolving collection of historic and contemprary art.

Currently in the design and development stage, the home has been developed with four different layouts and design concepts utilizing the elements of curve, arc, plane, courtyard, and landscape embrace.

The residence is conceived in harmony with the landscape, and includes below-grade parking for 20 cars, private courtyard, two landscaped gardens, and expansive views of the city below.
