The Four Seasons Resort Anguilla is a beacon expressing a symbiotic exchange between land and the Caribbean Sea, the natural and the manmade. The resort is home to 181 sleek and spacious guest suites, residences, and villas, as well as multiple restaurants, bars, lounges, and luxurious amenities. Beginning with the integrated landscape and modern architectural structure, Gabellini Sheppard Associates reimagined the existing hotel with a series of landscaping touches and updates to spaces throughout the property.
Transitioning from day to night, the experience is heightened with dramatic lighting and the tall grasses blowing in the evening breeze. The lobby seamlessly flows out to the newly created side veranda, a space transformed into an outdoor sculpture lounge where guests can rest and relax. A wood-clad portal frames the spectacular Caribbean panorama, inviting guests to bask in the tranquility. Further activating the flow and connection throughout the resort, stairs were created from the lobby and landscape design, incorporating additional seating with fire pits for the popular Sunset Lounge. Architectural screens are added throughout the property to carve intimate respites.
