Drawing on an interdisciplinary background spanning architecture, interior design, and product design, Miho Taguchi brings a holistic perspective to each project she touches. Since joining the studio in 2019, she has played a key leadership role in the design and execution of high-profile commercial showrooms and hospitality environments, combining logistical organization with a sharp eye for material detail and spatial clarity.
Miho currently serves as project manager for Olara Residences, a 275-unit luxury condominium development in West Palm Beach, Florida. Her leadership has been instrumental in navigating the full arc of the design process—from guiding conceptual direction to the fine grain of finish selection and planning coordination. “Solving complex design puzzles on real, built projects is what keeps me engaged,” she reveals. She also recently was a core contributor for the interior architecture of a five-star hotel in East Asia.
Miho’s position as Associate reflects not only her design capabilities and project leadership, but also her steady presence as a collaborator and mentor within the studio culture. Teamwork is central to her approach: whether in person or in virtual settings, she advocates for dynamic, solutions-driven group work sessions. “We are constantly drafting, brainstorming, and solving problems together in real-time,” she shares, “It’s helping me grow, not just as a designer but also as a collaborator.”
Prior to joining Gabellini Sheppard, Miho worked as an Architectural Designer, Project Manager, and a Lead Interior Designer at several prominent firms in New York City, developing custom millwork design, FF&E specification, and branding elements for high-end commercial, residential, and hospitality projects across New York, Qatar, and Italy. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Product Design from Parsons School of Design.
