St. Cloud Rooftop Bar

New York City

Perched atop the iconic Knickerbocker Hotel’s historic oxidized copper mansard roof, you can find the St. Cloud Rooftop Bar. When it opened in 2015, St. Cloud was the only rooftop bar in Times Square, literally and figuratively elevating the area’s nightlife scene. The unique space has both indoor and outdoor areas that offer visitors different vibes. Open seating at the 35-ft corian-topped bar, lush lounge areas, and a silver-clad dancefloor welcome socializing, while a private indoor lounge room and luxurious Sky Pods on the terrace are available for more intimate conversations.

Inside, cool and warm tones interplay, with rich textures, soft fabrics, and metallic tones utilized throughout. Outside, a living wall wraps alongside the interior walls of the outdoor terrace, adding a burst of life and greenery to the rooftops’ Beaux-Arts façade. Skyline and Times Square views are framed across the entire space and the rooftop looks directly at One Times Square and Broadway, making it home to an unbeatable vantage point for the NYE ball drop. In the evening, guests floating above Times Square feel like they’re part of the action down below. The terrace is also home to a sophisticated 25-person seated cigar lounge from Nat Sherman.
