NU by Gabellini Sheppard and Nero Cucine Selected as a 2023 NYCxDESIGN Awards Product Finalist
We're excited to share that NU, our collaboration with Nero Cucine is a 2023 NYCxDESIGN Awards Product Finalist.
An unconventional and compact presentation of the elements of the kitchen, NU is a sculptural smart hub that combines Nero Cucine’s award-winning N037 wing top technology with Gabellini Sheppard’s design into a beautiful, ‘off-the-wall’ performative stage.
Consisting of two monoliths, one vertical and one horizontal that are completely detached from the walls, NU is a revolutionary interpretation what it means to be a kitchen. The ombre stainless steel vertical monolith pairs with the tinted artistic glass horizontal monolith, topped with Italian Cipollino Verde marble. Containing all elements needed to be a functional kitchen – including Nero Cucine's award winning dynamic countertop, a wine fridge, and storage. NU can be positioned uniquely and freestanding in a kitchen space.
