Gabellini Sheppard was commissioned by T2 Hospitality to design the interiors for the TETRA Hotel, an Autograph Collection hotel in the heart of Silicon Valley. Aiming to be a premier destination for innovators and creatives, the interior design celebrates classic European modernism, incorporating natural materials and a subdued color palette with contemporary touches suitable for this technological hub. Notable features in the guest rooms include deconstructed baths, freestanding vanities, floating desks, luggage benches, and upholstered headboard walls. The development offers diverse amenity and social spaces, employing a refined materials palette to ensure comfort that blends contemporary elements with accessible luxury. The project is environmentally conscious, incorporating initiatives to promote public transportation, energy-efficient HVAC systems, ample natural lighting, water conservation, landscape preservation, and strategies to enhance natural flora. The TETRA Hotel won a Structures Award for best hospitality project.
